The Seydelmann Konti-Kutters are emulsifiers with a technology that is unique in the world: In contrast to conventional hole plates/knife systems, the pre-mixed product to be emulsified is aspirated through a system of vertically sequential hole plates and cutting plates. These rotate without contact at a minimal distance to one another. The friction of metal on metal is avoided completely, so that contamination of the emulsified product  is ruled out and wear off of the

plates is reduced significantly.

The fineness of the emulsion is influenced by the number of hole plates and cutting plates used, as well as the number and size of their bore holes. A very high degree of fineness (using up to seven cutting plates), as well as coarser grains are possible. The Konti-Kutter is the only machine to produce fine emulsion with coarser grains in one operation.
