Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG plans new customer center at the plant in Aalen
After the production in Aalen was already expanded in 2017 with the new construction of the machining department and in 2020 with the new construction of the assembly hall for production lines, the implementation of a Seydelmann customer center in the “Proviantamt area” in Aalen will now follow next year, in addition to an expansion of the welding shop and the extension of the social rooms. Not only as a machine manufacturer is Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG a leader in quality and innovation; with its expertise in the field of food production Seydelmann is able to support customers in the further development of their products and increase of efficiency in their productions and thus focuses once more on customer orientation.
The Seydelmann Customer Center will be fully equipped with machines for upstream and downstream processes as well, like a state-of-the-art food processing plant, while meeting the highest hygiene standards. Here the food technologists will work for or together with the customer on product development or quality improvement, because Seydelmann no longer only offers machines for food processing, but rather solutions for the products of tomorrow.
Equipped with the most modern machines, customers will be able to convince themselves of the performance, quality and efficiency of Seydelmann cutters, grinders, mixers and emulsifiers in the new customer center. The aim is, besides the joint product development, to welcome more customers in Aalen, Germany and to intensify the personal consultations.
For the customer this offers the chance to experience his product directly on the Seydelmann machines and for Seydelmann to let the user side flow into the development process. In this way, Seydelmann can include the user's requirements in the design and development of the machine and further optimize the process.
Furthermore, the customer can experience Industry 4.0 on his own product. Fully or semi-automated processes with fully automatic machines, recipe control and central operation are already part of the Seydelmann portfolio and can be tested on site. Seydelmann doesn’t only present itself future-oriented with regards to its machines but also with innovative product such as plant-based protein (vegetable protein/meat alternatives) or alternative protein (e.g. insects) products. Internationally successful products are also processed on Seydelmann machines and the result is presented to the customer.
In order to ensure the tasting of the produced food products as well as the handing out to customers as product samples, an EU approval for the Seydelmann customer center is planned. In addition, laboratory equipment for scientific analysis of food products will be set up to provide exact results of the products. Thus, the customer can objectively convince himself of the quality of Seydelmann machines.
If it is not possible for the customer to visit the customer center himself, state-of-the-art transmission technology can be used to run product tests live and transmit them to the customer's location or to record them and send them to the customer as video material. This equipment also offers the possibility of offering seminars or training courses online for larger groups and broadcasting them live, which also benefits distributors or international representatives.
The customer center is expected to welcome its first visitors from October 2022 onwards.
