Opening of the Seydelmann Customer Center
During a family day for all employees, retirees and their relatives, Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG opens its new customer center at its manufacturing site in Aalen. Not only as a machine manufacturer Seydelmann is an international leader in quality and innovation; with its expertise in the field of food production Seydelmann supports customers in the further development of their products and in increasing efficiency in production. The new Customer Center once again demonstrates the company's customer orientation.
Like a modern food plant, the Seydelmann Customer Center is fully equipped with machines also for upstream and downstream processes, meets the highest hygiene standards and has EU approval for food production. "Here, our food technologists work for or together with the customer on product development or quality and efficiency enhancement, Thus, we not only offer machines for food processing, but rather complete solutions for the challenges and products of tomorrow," Andreas Seydelmann, Managing Partner of Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG, explains the company's own claim.
Equipped with the latest machines, customers will be able to see for themselves in the new technical center the performance, quality and efficiency and the wide range of applications of Seydelmann cutters, grinders, mixers and emulsifiers. In addition to joint product development, the aim is to welcome customers to Aalen more frequently and intensify personal consultations in the process.
For the customer this offers the chance to experience his product directly on the Seydelmann machines and for Seydelmann the advantage to be closer to the challenges of his customers and to let the user´s side flow even more into the development process. In this way, the design and development of the machine can include the requirements of the user even more specifically and the process can be further optimized.
Furthermore, the customer can experience Industry 4.0 on his own product. Fully or semi-automated processes, recipe control and central operation are already part of the Seydelmann portfolio and can be tested on site. However, Seydelmann does not only present itself future-oriented with regard to the machines; also innovative product novelties such as products based on plant-based protein (vegetable protein/meat alternatives) or alternative protein (e.g. cultured meat and insects), as well as internationally successful products are produced on Seydelmann machines and the result is presented to the customer.
In order to ensure the tasting of the produced food as well as the handing out to customers as product samples, there is an EU approval for the Seydelmann Customer Center. In addition to the Seydelmann machine portfolio, it is equipped with all machines of a food processing company. Furthermore, it has an open meeting area with a catering kitchen for the preparation of the produced goods as well as extensive laboratory equipment for the scientific analysis of food products. Thus, the customer can convince himself not only subjectively but also objectively of the quality of Seydelmann machines.
"In the near future, we will also be able to enable our customers to follow tests and trials live from a distance or can provide them with a video recording. The technology will then also offer us the possibility to implement online seminars for larger groups and for our international representatives much more spontaneously and in better quality," Andreas Seydelmann explains the next expansion stage of the Customer Center.
