Outlook: IFFA 2025 - Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG

IFFA 2025 will open its doors in a few weeks. Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG will be presenting numerous machines and entire production lines for the production of meat and meat alternatives on a stand area of over 1,000 square meters - including many innovations and further developments:

 Novelty: KK 254 c AC-6 vacuum emulsifier

The family of emulsifier has grown once again. With the newly developed KK 254 c AC-6 vacuum emulsifier, Seydelmann now also offers its customers an entry into ultra-fine emulsifying with vacuum technology for large production volumes.

Emulsifying under vacuum produces a more compact brat with a constant volume weight and increases the shelf life of the end product. Higher protein digestion is achieved and better color stability is achieved. The cutting set works contact-free and therefore without metal abrasion.

Thanks to the low height and compact design of the KK 254 c AC-6, the hopper can be placed directly under the outlet flaps of a mixer or under the cutter ejector, allowing the machine to be integrated directly into the product flow.

 Revision: AU 200 automatic grinder

The flange-mounted grinder outlet is visible at first glance, making servicing easier and thus significantly reducing costs. The external lubrication points make things even easier. In addition, the hygienic design in particular has been improved. The machine frame has been redesigned, the pressure-side worm bearings are now equipped with CIP cleaning and the new product flow-optimized hopper has eliminated potential dead spaces and further simplified cleaning.

 Innovation: AE 130 M Automatic Mixing-Grinder - the 4 in 1 solution

The AE 130 M Automatic Mixing-Grinder combines three functions with a low overall height and small footprint, thus increasing flexibility in production. It enables mixing and homogenizing and subsequent grinding via the grinder outlet. Thanks to the removable mixing unit and large feeding worm, it can be used as a purely automatic grinder and can also reliably feed whole muscle pieces to the cutting set without any problems. Use as a pure mixer with discharge via the separate discharge flap rounds off the possible applications.

As an option, the new AE 130 M Automatic Mixing-Grinder can be equipped and operated with a manual or pneumatic cutting set, the new Seydelmann Cutting Drum and a lifting device for E2 crates.

 Additional sizes: Cutting Drum

The Seydelmann Cutting Drum ensures the efficient separation of hard parts and foreign bodies such as plastic particles or film residues. The system, which consists of a perforated drum and extended working worm, allows a higher throughput and therefore hourly output with lower temperature input compared to conventional cutting sets and is now also available in outlet size U 200 in addition to the existing sizes E 130 and G 160. The system works contact-free and therefore without metal abrasion. The service life is significantly longer than that of soft separators or the usual grinder cutting sets.

Still one of a kind: Trolley Tumblers

Anyone producing delicatessen salads or vegetable mixes or offering spare ribs, marinated steaks, chicken wings and pulled pork faces a major challenge: the individual components need to be processed carefully. What sounds simple is not easy to achieve. This is because particularly gentle and even mixing, tumbling and marinating is important. With the Trolley Tumbler the trolley, which is filled with the products to be mixed, serves as the mixing container. There is no need to load and empty the machine, as is the case with conventional mixers or tumblers. This enables quick product changes and minimizes product losses. Depending on the machine design, mixing is carried out by horizontal or cross rotation - even under vacuum if required. Simple operation and an easy-to-understand control system reduce personnel costs: only one person is required to operate the machine. Maximum operating safety is ensured by the protective fencing with interrogated safety door and the moisture-protected electronics positioned on the side.

New generation: Vacuum Cooking Cutters and Industrial Cutters

All Vacuum Cooking Cutters from Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann have been revised and further improved, particularly with regard to automation and hygienic design. For example, the seal in the lid for sealing the bowl is now removable and self-adjusting. This simplifies cleaning and eliminates the need for time-consuming adjustment work when replacing. The supply lines and nozzles for the bowl heating/cooling are made entirely of stainless steel. The machine stand is now ventilated with positive pressure to prevent the ingress of dust or moisture. The K 206 and K 556 Industrial Cutters are also presented as a new generation of machines. Here, too, the focus is on hygienic design.

 New control: Artisanal cutters

Another new feature is the Auto-Command 500 control system, which is now standard equipment on all artisanal cutters. In addition to manual operation, it also enables automatic program control of different recipes. The user-friendly design and logic of the display ensures reliable and intuitive operation and is also a response to the shortage of skilled workers in the industry. All relevant data can be clearly read even from a distance and the robust design in protection class IP 69K allows easy and thorough cleaning. Recipes are created via the control unit's touchscreen, while program selection and program start are still carried out using the toggle switches on the machine.

These are just some of the innovations and further developments that Seydelmann will be presenting. There is much more to discover at IFFA 2025, particularly in the areas of ergonomics, hygienic design and automation.

Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG is looking forward to your visit!
